Fiendish Board Games has a small but select range of games. Each has been thoroughly play-tested by some of the most ardent games players in Britain.

The games seek to emphasise skill and interaction, and de-emphasise luck and rules complexity.

GAMES

Our range of games

Breaking Away
A bike race game for three to six players, aged 10 and up. An uncanny representation of the ebb and flow of road racing, this game was one of the most popular play-by-mail games in the world back in the day when people played by mail..

Office Politics
A game about building up power bases in an office environment, for three to six players, aged 10 and up. A cynical but absorbing look at the dirty tricks performed by ambitious megalomaniacs more concerned with furthering their own career than doing a decent day's work.

Traffic Lights
A collection of two player abstract games that take Noughts & Crosses (aka Tic-Tac-Toe) to a new dimension. Suitable for young and old (ages seven and up).

Devil Take The Hindmost
We no longer have the licence for this. It should still be available from the original publishers, Lambourne Games. It is another bike race game but completely different to Breaking Away. In this game, based on races held in a velodrome, the riders play a cat and mouse game trying to avoid elimination through being at the back of the field at the end of each lap. For two to six players, aged eight and up.

All games come boxed and ready to play (although you will need to cut out a sheet of cards to play Office Politics and, optionally, Breaking Away)
